He is the son of David Morwick Sr. and politician Carolyn Morwick, the first woman selectman in the 400 hundred-year history of David's hometown. David Morwick is a classically trained theater actor, David Morwick received the 'Best Actor' award from the Boston Globe's Drama Festival for his portrayal of Roy Hubley in Neil Simon's Plaza Suite. David Morwick acted in several summer-stock productions until he was accepted into the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. David Morwick completed his studies with a degree in acting from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Although David Morwick is primarily a theater actor, he enjoys acting in films as well.
